Alex’s research focuses on injury prevention in athletics and sports, with a concentration on soft tissue injuries. His current research focuses on the human lower extremity, namely injuries sustained at the ankle. Alex is responsible for designing and conducting PMHS experiments to collect data for model optimization, with the ultimate goals of creating injury criteria and prevention methods for various sports injuries.
